STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR POOCHIE PARADISE DOG DAY CARE
Before enrolling your dog at Poochie Paradise, we kindly ask all customers to review and agree to the following terms and conditions.
At Poochie Paradise, we act with integrity, responsibility and trustworthiness towards our clients, their pets and their property. The welfare, safety and wellbeing of every dog in our care is our highest priority.
By enrolling your dog in daycare at Poochie Paradise, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Ownership & Responsibility
By enrolling a dog at Poochie Paradise, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog(s) listed on the registration form.
Owners accept full responsibility for their dog while attending daycare.
Behaviour & Suitability
All dogs must pass a behaviour and suitability assessment before joining daycare.
Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people and show no signs of aggression.
If a dog demonstrates aggression or behaviour considered unsafe or unsuitable, Poochie Paradise reserves the right to remove the dog from daycare immediately, regardless of how long they have attended.
Health & Fitness
Owners must confirm that their dog is healthy and capable of taking part in exercise, play and social interaction.
Any medical conditions or concerns must be discussed with Poochie Paradise staff before attendance.
Vaccinations, Parasites & Illness
All dogs attending daycare must:
Be fully vaccinated
Have up-to-date flea, tick and worm treatments
Provide an up-to-date vaccination record annually
Dogs must not attend daycare if they are suffering from illness, parasites or contagious conditions.
Dogs must remain away from daycare for:
48 hours after vomiting or diarrhoea symptoms
2 weeks after receiving the Kennel Cough vaccination
A minimum of 4 weeks during and after a season, including 14 days after bleeding has finished
Owners acknowledge that Kennel Cough can still occur despite vaccination, and Poochie Paradise cannot be held responsible if a dog contracts it.
Entire Dogs
Entire male dogs may attend daycare until they reach an age suitable for castration.
As a general guideline:
Small breeds: approximately 12 months
Larger breeds: approximately 18 months
Poochie Paradise may request a break from daycare if an entire dog's behaviour becomes disruptive or unsuitable for the group.
Female Dogs in Season
Female dogs in season may not attend daycare during their season.
Dogs must remain away for at least 14 days after bleeding has stopped, with a minimum absence of four weeks.
Poochie Paradise cannot accept responsibility for pregnancy costs if a dog attends daycare while in season.
Daycare Attendance
Dogs must attend daycare on at least one regular set day per week to maintain their place within the daycare group.
This helps us maintain a balanced and stable social group environment.
Trial Sessions
All new dogs must complete a paid trial session before joining daycare.
This allows our team to ensure that your dog is comfortable, suitable and able to safely integrate with the group.
Veterinary Care
If a dog becomes ill or injured while in our care and the owner cannot be contacted, Poochie Paradise reserves the right to seek veterinary advice or treatment.
Owners agree to cover any veterinary costs incurred.
Risk of Injury
Dogs participating in group play may occasionally sustain minor injuries despite careful supervision.
Poochie Paradise cannot be held responsible for injury, illness or death unless caused by proven negligence.
Owners are strongly advised to maintain appropriate pet insurance.
Owner Liability
Owners accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog to other dogs, people, vehicles, equipment or property while attending daycare.
Facility Security
The Poochie Paradise daycare facility is enclosed by a 6ft deer fence, which is regularly inspected and maintained.
In the unlikely event of an escape, staff follow a formal escape procedure.
Poochie Paradise cannot accept responsibility for loss or escape unless caused by proven negligence.
Transport
Dogs may be transported in company vehicles for collection and drop-off.
Dogs are secured in cages during transport to keep them safely separated and contained.
These cages are designed for safe transport but are not crash-tested crates.
House Keys
Some owners may provide Poochie Paradise with a house key to allow dog collection.
Where necessary, a duplicate key may be cut to ensure smooth collection arrangements between vehicles and staff members.
All keys and duplicates will be returned when services end.
Payment Terms
Invoices are issued on the last working day of each month.
Payment must be made within 5 days of the invoice date.
Poochie Paradise reserves the right to suspend daycare services if payment is not received within this timeframe.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel a daycare session.
If less than 24 hours' notice is given, the full daycare charge will apply.
Photographs & Media
Photos or videos may be taken of dogs during daycare activities.
These may be used for Poochie Paradise marketing, social media or website content unless the owner requests otherwise in writing.
Right to Refuse Service
Poochie Paradise reserves the right to refuse admission or dismiss any dog that does not meet our health, behaviour or safety standards.

To do this, we start with a meet-and-greet where you and your dog(s) can tour our facilities. Afterward, we’ll schedule a taster day for your dog to experience a full day at our day care.
To get started, please contact us via email or phone, and we’ll send you a form to fill out with your details and your dog's information. Once completed, we’ll book you in for the next step.
